1. The Spellarium series - Spellarium, Spellarium 2 and Spellarium 3 Unlike many of the games listed below, the Spellarium series isn't a game that's only contain match-3 games. Don't get me wrong - match-3 games are still the most prominent part of the game but it also offers other "mini-games" like solitaire, finding the difference, and more.
The storyline throughout the series is very well-written as well! Playing as Eric the wizard, you are tasked by the Gods themselves to recover the lost crystal called Spellarium before it is too late in the first part of the game. This crystal is no ordinary crystal, however - it is an incredibly powerful one as it has power over all life on the planet. The longer the crystal remains missing, the further will the life on the planet decays.
Spellarium 2 features a brand new adventure where you - still playing as Eric - is now tasked by the Gods to create the seventh element of life. Things aren't as dire as before, however, and as such, this might not be an adventure some players may enjoy.
Thankfully, the third installment of Spellarium brings back the exciting feeling of being able to set off on an epic adventure to save the world. This time around, the Gods and Dark Spirits have had a really messy war which ended with a land ravaged beyond recognition. It now falls on Eric's (and your) shoulders to raise the world from its ashes... which goes without saying, is a pretty massive feat!
2. Fishdom 3 Populate your virtual aquarium with the fanciest fishes and decorate it with the most beautiful decor in this fun-filled match-3/building game, Fishdom 3! The match-3 puzzles are challenging enough to play and you get the added bonus of investing the tokens you've earned from playing into your aquarium.
3. 5-Star Rio Resort Looking to escape the bustling city for the summer? Well, head on over to Rokaplay's 5-Star Rio Resort and have fun playing colorful match-3 games as well as some solitaire while building your own beach resort from the ground up!
