Bubble Boo is a really fun and enjoyable casual bubble popper game where your objective is to basically free the boos that are being held by the bubbles surrounding them. You do this by throwing bubbles from your cannon and matching together three or more of the same color together so that they can pop.
Even though the game is incredibly simple and easy to play, when you start it off for the first time you’ll be met with a tutorial levels that explains all the necessary basics of the game like swapping bubbles, shooting at angles and a bunch of other things about the game. It’s always nice to have a tutorial no matter how simple a game is since there are always new players who are playing it for the first time and have absolutely no clue what to do.
The gameplay of bubble boo consists of aiming your cannon and shooting the bubble armed inside of it at bubbles of the same color. If you manage to shoot your bubble and end up making a group of three or more of the same kind, then this group of bubbles will pop and disappear from the playing field while granting you some points. The amount of points you gain varies depending on how many bubbles you can pop in a single turn.
It’s worth keeping in mind that you don’t always have to shoot the bubble that is in your cannon as you always have a secondary option available to swap with which is quite helpful at times.
Like every similar casual game, Bubble Boo has a set of boosters that you can utilize within the game to help give you a bit of an edge. While these aren’t really necessary due to how easy the game is, they’re still really fun to use and make the gameplay a lot more enjoyable due to their unique effects.
There aren’t really any graphics to speak of due to this being a simple Facebook based casual game but it’s worth pointing out that the game is really well presented. All the visuals look clean and the animation produced when you pop a huge row of bubbles at the same time is one of the most satisfying things in the game.
Going into micro-transactions, the premium currency of the game are the gems which can are of course acquired through real world money but are occasionally given to you as you progress through the game which is a nice gesture. Gems can buy a variety of things such as extra lives and different kinds of boosters.
