Last Temple is an exciting match 3 game where you have to create lines of 3 or more matching icons. Pick your start point and then run the mouse over all of the icons you want to include in your line. When you stop holding the button they all pop and new icons drop down from the top.
The aim of each level is to make every tile on the board turn blue. Each tile will turn blue when you make a match over the top of it. As you progress through the game you will need more matches over each tile to make it change colour.
Each level has a timer of 4 minutes to complete and if you run out of time you have the option to increase the timer for the cost of gems. If you manage to clear the level you will earn points, experience and Waka.
You points count towards stars, and you will need to collect a certain number of stars to unlock the next batch of levels. Unlike most other games you don’t have to collect a star on every level. The experience you earn counts towards your level, and the higher your level the more powerups you can use.
Waka is a special resource that is spent on your powerups. Each powerup is unique and you unlock one every few levels. They all have their own Waka cost, and you can choose which powerup you use on any given level.
As well as Waka there are also gems, these gems can be spent in the store for special boost items, increases to experience and Waka. You can also spend gems on boosters for your lives. Gems are only available for real money through the game, but you do begin with 20 to spend.
Each time you play a game it will cost you 1 of your lives. You have 5 to begin with, and they refresh over 10 minutes. Every time you level your lives are restored to full and you will recieve a large amount of Waka. You have the option to buy special boosters that mean you don’t lose lives, or you have 3 extra permanently.
Last Temple is a really fun and addictive game, with some interesting challenges as you increase in levels. The powerups can be incredibly good but a little expensive, so you need to use them wisely.
